Goal 1: Principals will capitalize on their role as instructional leaders to assist stakeholders in developing site plans that emphasize student-centered teaching and incorporate use of technology as a strategy for achieving plan goals and objectives.  

Objective 1.1: Each principal will identify three compelling reasons for making instructional technology use a priority at his/her site.

Objective 1.2: Each principal will complete an activity that introduces the concept of digital immigrants/digital natives.

Objective 1.3: Each principal will participate in an activity that identifies the Essential Conditions for NETS implementation and identify how these relate to school site plans.
   

Goal 2: Principals will use the principles of Using Powerful Teaching and Learning to encourage and support teachers in reflective use of technology that supports differentiated instruction.

Objective 2.1: Principals work in small groups to develop a collection of online instructional resources for technology integration that can be used by teachers to supports differentiated instruction.

Goal 3: Principals will model use of technology as a tool for personal productivity.

Objective 3.1: Each team will create a wiki page to share links to online instructional resources with staff members at their sites.

Objective 3.2: Each principal will explore use of a web-based office suite and identify ways s/he can use these tools personally and to collaborate with staff, making plans available online for all to review.

Objective 3.3: Each principal will prepare a brief Web-based presentation sharing the highlights of his/her work in these sessions.
